Green Beryl

Green Beryl is another member of the Beryl family which comes in a range of pastel colors from light bluish-green to light yellowish-green to light green.
While somewhat rare they are frequently natural and untreated (see product labelling on each gem). They are also available with very good clarity unlike their stronger green cousin Emerald which usually has inclusions.
The Beryl family comes in many colors – blue (Aquamarine), green (Emerald & Green Beryl), peach-pink (Morganite), yellow (Heliodor), colorless (White Beryl/Goshenite) and red (Bixbite from Utah).
Green Beryl is a durable gemstone with a hardness of 7.5-8.0 on the Mohs Scale and can easily be used in all types of jewelry.
